Simple Ways To Declutter Linen Closet

Look at all this storage! Plenty room for hanging blankets and enough organizers to store all the linens you’ll ever need. I love how she used basically the same bins but in different sizes for the entire closet giving it a very put-together look. With the large pillows up top and the winter bedding tucked away on the bottom, this closet is definitely organized with some thought behind it!
But my favorite part has to be the way she is putting the blankets on the hangers making it insanely easy to pull a few out when guests are over… Whether you’re reorganizing your closet at the moment or not, I’m sure you could use this trick almost anywhere at your house. Hang up those blankets and create more room for storage bins with this makeover!

I’m not going to lie… my bathroom closet needs some work! I love the simplicity of the matching baskets in the actual closet but the best part is definitely the hanging wire baskets on the inside of the door! They’re such a great way to organize all the smaller things like your soaps, shampoo, and other bottles. If you have a smaller linen closet in your bathroom this is a great way to maximize the storage space available while keeping things organized at the same time! Turn your closet into an organized masterpiece with this tutorial!

Looking for an Ikea hack to declutter your linen closet with?? She used the algot free-standing shelving system to completely redo her closet with ease! I love how quick and simple this can be done once you have that shelving unit. After she installed it in the closet, filling in the rest of the room with hanging clothes and laundry basket must have been a breeze. Remember the floral linen closet from above… well this one takes it one step further! I love how she completely transformed her closet by using removable floral wallpaper and some simple storage bins. The bins she chose look perfect against the background and provide some contrast against the pink while pulling the blue out too!
Plus, if you’re running out of room in your closet, you can always add a hanging storage rack on the back of the door just like she did. Inside the storage rack shes using some really cool clear containers so she can easily see exactly what’s inside. Quickly give your linen closet a facelift with this awesome idea!

While some of these examples on the list have been pretty simple, this next one is definitely more in-depth… If you’re up for a DIY weekend project to organize that linen closet, I’m sure this tutorial will give you a great place to start! I know I’ve said this before, but the before and after pictures are stunning. She ripped out all the old wallpaper, shelves and a metal bar that wasn’t going to be used anymore. After removing everything to start with a fresh slate, she then built those awesome thick wooden shelves. Pair this example with one from above for some storage bin ideas and your linen closet will be looking perfect in no time!
