Mint Oreo Cheesecake Brownies
Source: No Plate Like Home
Have you guys had a chance to see Wreck it Ralph yet?
Not only is it now Mitchell’s favorite movie of all time but I have to admit it’s up there for me too
It’s so creatively written, with a keen sense of humor and an adorable backstory. My favorite aspect of the whole movie is the land “Sugar Rush” and seeing everything they do with the candy to make them come to life
The police officer donuts are hilarious but my FAVORITE are the oreo guards
Okay if you haven’t seen it please so and then come back and read so you donI’vehink I’ve lost my marbles 😆
But first, make this because speaking of Oreos…. These mint oreo cheesecake brownies are mint to be on your holiday or springtime dessert list
If you’re a fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream or flavors these are the brownies for you! (if you’re not, why?)
The green food coloring in the cheesecake layer of these brownies give them aesthetically a Christmas or St Patrick’s day feel and would be great to bring to any event. A homemade decadent brownie recipe, mint cheesecake, and mint Oreos…
All drizzled with hot fudge. Well, Oreo going to make these or not?
Better Than A Boyfriend Brownies
Source: Modern Honey
Let me tell you a story about how the best brownie recipe I have ever come across (this one) and I met
In college, my serious boyfriend of 4 years forgot about Valentine’s Day. I’m sure everybody is thinking either one of two things:
“How could he?” or “who cares you guys have been together for a while”
WELL, I CARED
And he knew I cared. He’s known I cared since we met when I was 18 years old
I made him a jar with all of my favorite things about him, got him a brand new pack of his favorite golf balls, and even made him a little homemade coupon book
I waited all day to get my gift first and didn’t
After our dinner, we had (he brought home Wendy’s) I lost it on him. I got in my car, turned off my phone, and went back to my apartment
After getting back, I laptop and searched “desserts to make when you’re mad” and stumbled upon these “better than a boyfriend brownies” I took it as a sign, made them, and oh my chocolatey goodness!
These are gooey, chocolatey, and homemade without the box mix but still very easy to make. I rage ate at least 6 brownies, and about 5 the next day
That relationship ended, but I still make these to remind myself these ARE better than any other brownie, any boyfriend, and even my husband sometimes 😆
Cookies & Cream Brownies
Source: Sallys Baking Addiction
Okay guys, these 4 layer “fork and plate” brownies get their name because you legitimately need a fork and plate to consume them because they are that thick and fudgy
Do I even need to say more?
These are created with a brownie base, followed by a layer of everybody’s favorite cookie the oreo, followed by a cookies and cream buttercream, topped with chocolate
Is this really even a brownie anymore or is a tasty gooey mini cake? This dessert is pretty fancy and it really looks the part and tastes it too
If you’re looking for brownie points…. this is the one!
Raspberry Chocolate Brownies
Source: Sweetest Menu
There’s something about a raspberry and chocolate combination that I love a choco-LOT!
Picture your favorite chocolate truffles with a raspberry filling with a yummy decadent taste x1000 and you’ll have these brownies
These have a crinkly top, and small fudgy raspberry center. I made these for my sons Valentine’s day party hoping to get my hands on the leftovers and there weren’t any!
You’re bound to love this recipe berry much!

S’more than a feeling… These brownies are a way of LIFE!
How do you guys like your marshmallows when you’re roasting them?
I am the patient type who will keep my marshmallow next to the embers in the fire for a good 5 minutes, waiting for it to reach the perfect brown whereas my husband just torches the freaking thing because apparently liking burnt charcoal flavored marshmallows is a thing
Did you know that you can broil marshmallows and get the same outcome as you do in the fire?
It wasn’t until I stumbled across this recipe that I realized I could make campfire marshmallows in the oven and it has been a game changer!
I love these s’more and s’more every time I make them. This is a delicious homemade brownie recipe made from double chocolate brownies, a layer of crunchy and salty pretzels, with melted marshmallows
Once you make the brownies you add marshmallows and broil them and voila! You have a brownie s’more which in my opinion, is way better than the graham cracker kind
You won’t want to miss out on this one!
Homemade Butterscotch Brownies
Source: Eating on a Dime
My husband absolutely loves butterscotch flavor
His parents were a huge fan and they have passed on some awesome cookie and cake recipes that our family has had numerous times for events or parties
A couple of months ago my husband said to me “Why don’t you ever make butterscotch recipes to try?”
To be honest it didn’t even cross my mind
It’s not that I was ignoring my husbands wants, but I guess his love for butterscotch was getting lost in all of the mumbo jumbo of all of the bars I had been trying because at the time I was doing “a bar a week” and giving my kids dessert bars in their lunches
After he left for work that morning his sadness about butterscotch continued to replay in my head
Luckily, I stumbled upon this SCOTCHTASTIC butterscotch brownie bar recipe!
This is a twist on the classic butterscotch brownie recipe but topped with caramel icing and put into the fridge to eat cold giving a bar type feel when eaten
We also topped our bars with walnuts because our kids and my husband love them, but that’s optional
My husband was eating one for breakfast with his milk and butterscotch definitely does have a breakfast vibe so that’s an option for a treat after breakfast
If you like butterscotch then I would not miss out on this recipe!
French Silk Brownies
Source: House of Yumm
Browne Diem, seize the brownie!
Okay, that’s not correct, but who’s monitoring me on here anyway?
Chocolate makes everything better. I mean, at this point it’s a proven fact
Bad day? Grab some chocolate. That time of the month? Two pieces will do. Want to surprise a loved one? Something chocolate, of course!
It’s no wonder that chocolate has gone down in history as one of the best foods of all time, and new recipes are constantly calling for chocolate
Why am I going on this tangent about chocolate? Because these French silk brownies are the chocolate lovers dream, that’s why
These are soft and fudgy brownies topped with a layer of smooth and creamy French silk
What I like so much about this recipe is that it’s more than just a brownie. The layers cause you to most likely need a fork for this, and it’s so pretty looking
This is the kind of recipe you’d find at a nice restaurant when ordering dessert
Plus, it’s fairly simple to make. We topped ours with whip cream and went to chocolate town!
White Chocolate Brownies
Source: Just So Tasty
If you love white chocolate this is a recipe you absolutely cannot pass up!
They are just like biting into a piece of white chocolate, only in brownie form which, obviously makes it that much better
My favorite thing about this recipe is that it has a fudge-like or almost a brownie bar texture to it. It’s perfect fresh out of the oven or warmed up, but you can also pop it into the refrigerator and save it for lunches, or if you prefer eating your desserts cold you can go that route
I find that white chocolate is better cold, but this recipe is so good that you can go either way. After the white chocolate brownies are cooled, you can cut them into squares and drizzle with more chocolate
I love the drizzled chocolate on top because it gives a super pretty zebra looking stripe and adding more chocolate is 100% always a good idea
Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
Source: A Pretty Life In The Suburbs
Okay I’m not from Philadelphia… but the secret ingredient is always cream cheese
Yep, That’s what I have decided. I’ll be at a friends house, my sister’s house or a restaurant eating dessert and when it’s THAT good I always have to know “what is in these!?”
No matter what the dessert is, but specifically in brownies I find people saying “and then I added cream cheese to give it a gooey fudgy like texture”
I’ve started to incorporate recipes into my own, becoming my own creative baker, and adding a little cream cheese even when it doesn’t call for it
It has never ruined any recipe I’ve had and always made it better
Luckily, the secret is already out with this recipe! These cream cheese swirl brownies already have the secret ingredient in them, and holy cream cheese cow these brownies are amazing!
Like, I think you need to make them ASAP amazing. I’m not sure there’s any more delicious combination than fudgy brownies with cream cheese
You get the rich chocolate flavor mixed with the sweet cream cheese and you essentially just die right then and go to heaven. Right in your kitchen
If you’re looking for a new and unique recipe to try this is sure to be a hit!

Summer is more than just a season, it’s a state of mind 😎
If you’re not barefoot, you’re overdressed. If you’re not at the beach, you’re waiting to be
As a Michigander, summer is absolutely something not taken for granted in my home state. Winter can at times last through mid April, spring hits, and then summer comes in and makes everything better. At least for a short while
These lemon brownie bars are such a refreshing and sweet dessert for summer. They have almost a sugar cookie flavor to them but are super moist and decadent like you’d want a brownie to be
Lemon recipes scare me sometimes because if there’s too much it overtakes the entire recipe and at that point, it’s not even good anymore, but this lemon glaze is JUST the right amount of lemon flavoring
My kids aren’t big lemon fans and they love these. When life gives you lemons… make these for your main squeeze!
Marshmallow Fudge Crunch Brownies
Source: Back for Seconds
If you’re looking for a brownie to impress, these are FUDGING awesome, literally
These are dangerous, the good kind of dangerous. The crunchy peanut butter and chocolate topping mixed with gooey marshmallows and a delicious homemade brownie base will give you some serious brownie points with a crowd!
I made these for a potluck at church, and also for one of my son’s schools events. There was none left over either time, but it was probably a good thing because I legitimately can’t have these in my home without eating all of them
I even got an email after the potluck asking for the recipe, and even with how experienced of a baker I am, this does not happen often
These brownies somewhat remind me of a mixture of a s’more, brownie, and that classic star crunch treat
Unique, relatively easy to make, and ooey gooey goodness, YES PLEASE!
Chunky Monkey Brownies
Source: Life Love Liz
Ben and Jerry used to be two of my best friends
I can still remember those sweet college nights like it was yesterday…
Bad day? Ben and Jerry’s
Husband makes you mad? Ben and Jerry’s
Husband make you happy? Get a Pint of Ben and Jerry’s together
I can single-handedly blame Ben and Jerry’s for at least 5 pounds over the course of a year
If my college boyfriend was magically reading this he would tell you I once forced him to go to 4 different supermarkets to find the “chunky monkey” flavor
When it was nowhere to be found I tried settling with Mcdonald’s because at that point he was mad at me and I was mad at the world and the freaking ice cream machine was broken. Why is it ALWAYS broken?
This Chunky Monkey brownie recipe takes me right back, in a good way. Chocolate, banana, and walnuts all come together to form a brownie that is better than the ice cream itself, and that’s coming from Queen Chunky Monkey herself
My favorite part is the frosting/pudding mixture that goes on top of the brownie, almost giving it a piece of cake feel
You’ll go bananas for these! 🍌
Salted Caramel Brownies
Source: Something Swanky
You’ve been hit by, you’ve been struck by, smooth caramel…
Okay, let’s talk boxed brownie mix vs. homemade brownies
Now, I completely understand why boxed brownies would come in clutch and I’m definitely guilty of using them too. The time saved using a boxed mix can be immense, along with the fewer amount of ingredients needed
Our kids are lucky that we as moms after you know, packing their lunch, getting them dressed, chauffeuring them around, cleaning up their stuff, etc. etc. have the time to even make them a treat, right?
Well I’m here to tell you that this recipe makes homemade brownies easier than ever, and the taste is absolutely incomparable to a boxed mix
I use this base for brownies in almost every recipe I make that calls for boxed mix because it really is just as easy
There are only 7 ingredients, and they are all household items
I would highly, highly, recommend these salted caramel brownies. These are every bit as rich, decadent, and indulgent as they look. A super thick and fudgy brownie filled with chocolate chips topped which a sticky layer of salted caramel that melts in your mouth
So good it’s bad, get struck by a smooth caramel ASAP!
Chewy Butterscotch Brownies
Source: Can’t Stay Out of the Kitchen
These chewy butterscotch brownies are another take on the classic butterscotch flavor, only these are more decadent brownie and less bar
These also have some crunch to it, which I’m sure classic butterscotchers will love
If you like your brownie with more of a cookie than cake type texture this recipe will give you that while still creating moist, decadent, and dense butterscotch brownies
Plus, this is one of the easier recipes so it’s good in a pinch or for a school event
They are filled with pecan and butterscotch chips with every bite and have a great texture. You can make the batter in 10 minutes, and bake them in 30
Perfect take on a classic recipe!
Mega Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
Source: Sallys Baking Addiction
Sometimes you have to realize that you can’t fix everyone’s problems, you aren’t Peanut Butter
As a mom, and a wife, this is something I have struggled with. My personality has always been the type to want to cheer everybody up
As a kid, it was my parents when they were stressed. Then, as a teenager and into my college years I would drop everything to help out or cheer up any of my friends
I was that trooper of a friend getting out of bed at 11 pm to go to the bar with my best friend after she was broken up with, or agreeing to do something with a friend who was sad when I would way rather (always) be at home
Now as a mom all I want is for my kids, and my husband, to be constantly happy. This can wear on a person, and it does on me
I find myself ignoring my own mental health to make sure everybody else’s is up to par. I do attend therapy, and it’s something I talk through and work on on a daily basis
Lucky for me, Peanut Butter DOES fix most of my problems, and most of my husbands and kids problems too!
I am very good at incorporating peanut butter into my dessert recipes because, well, you literally can’t go wrong with peanut butter (other than someone having a peanut allergy LOL)
These Mega Peanut Butter swirl brownies are exactly what you would want them to be: overloaded with chocolate and swirled in a rich peanut butter filling
Plus, these look gorgeous as well with the swirl of peanut butter. It takes everything in me not to eat all of these before my husband and kids get home because sharing these brownies are a mental challenge
If Peanut Butter is the glue holding your life together than this is the recipe for you!
