Rocking Paper Plate Pirate Boat

Source: Non-Toy Gifts
Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate! Sometimes it’s PAPER!
This is one of the coolest DIY paper plate crafts I’ve seen. It’s extremely unique and easy to make…
I can imagine this being a perfect activity for a boys birthday party or a school project. If your kids like pirates, treasure, or boats, this is the craft for you to look into. Very cool!
Paper Plate Dream Catcher

Source: Meraki Mother
This DIY Dream Catcher is not only easy to make and fun for your kids, but it is SUCH an adorable addition to a bedroom too!
As soon as I saw this I knew we had to make it because it matches my daughter’s bedroom theme perfectly
A dreamcatcher is a classic, and sometimes when my little Casey has trouble falling asleep or is scared to fall asleep I remind her that her dream catcher that we made together is right there catching all of her bad dreams thoughts so she can sleep soundly
Pretend Play Food Paper Pizza

Source: Artsy Craftsy Mom
<3 is shaped like pizza for a reason, right?
This pizza craft may look like experts work, but it has only 5 items needed to make and it’s really quite simple!
I’m not sure if my kids or I like pizza more, but we equally loved this project. You can choose your own toppings to make and really tailor it to the kind of pizza you eat together at home
Pirate Paper Bag Craft

Source: The Inspiration Edit
It’s no secret that I am all about the pirate theme, and this is a perfect addition to those crafts in earlier posts
These are actual pirate people for your pirate ship or your pirate treasure chest!
This is guaranteed to be one of those projects your little one continues to play with after it’s over and it’s a great activity to make for a pirate birthday party or to go with other pirate crafts already made

Positive Paper Fortune Cookies

Source: Six Time Mommy
This is a MOMMY craft, and I am absolutely obsessed with it!
Last month Casey came home from school and she innocently asked me “mommy why don’t you leave notes in my lunchbox like Rachel’s mommy does?”
I’m not sure why, but this got me all hot and bothered and feeling essentially…. guilty? Like I wasn’t doing enough
I think we all as moms feel this way at times, comparing ourselves to somebody else. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I reminded myself I make my daughters lunch almost every day, take her to school every morning, and love her more than anything and started feeding myself positivity
I decided to search “gifts for kids for lunchboxes” and stumbled upon these fortune cookies
Fast forward to now and my little Casey gets one fortune cookie a week, and I surprise her on whatever day of the week I want
The tutorial will give you some good ideas of what to put in the cookie or you can be creative and put your own in ?
3D Heart Mobile

Source: Twitchetts
This 3d spinning rainbow heart is absolutely precious!
My kids love all things rainbow, and this mommy does too. The finished product of this craft is so pretty, and unique and the 3d gives it such a vibrant look
This is one of those projects that looks difficult because of how amazing it turns out, but it really isn’t at all ❤️
Happy Tooth Construction Paper Craft

Source: Fun Learning Life
We loved this Happy Tooth construction paper craft in my house!
Teaching healthy habits is important as we all know, and this giant tooth hangs in my little girl’s bathroom to remind her to brush her teeth (as if I don’t already do it ten times a morning)
I did somehow end up convincing her that if she didn’t brush her teeth then the happy tooth would turn sad, and it seems to really be working
Teach some healthy habits with this happy tooth ?
Paper Bag Monster Puppets

Source: I Heart Crafty Things
These paper bag monster puppets are everything! They are adorable, easy to make, and take no preparation if you already have markers and paper bags on hand
Get together with the whole family and make monsters for Halloween, make a monster Valentine, gift bag, or make them to serve as a spooky little monster puppet
This is simple and your kids are going to absolutely love it!
Slinky Fish Craft

Source: Bitz & Giggles
There are plenty of fish in the sea….
But there is only one moving slinky fish craft as awesome as this one! This project is perfect for your crafty little one because after it’s made you can play with it for weeks to come
This is super unique, and fun to make…
We decided we are going to get Casey a goldfish this spring but first she needs to learn all about the fish in the sea. What better way to teach her than to show her?
